Valerie has been practicing law in Hawaii since 1991. Her practice focuses in the areas of real estate, land use, development, commercial transactions and business law. Prior to joining the firm, Valerie was Commercial Escrow Officer at First American Title and Escrow in Honolulu, and has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate closings, business and asset sales, and foreclosure sales. In addition, Valerie has a comprehensive background in government and legislative issues in Washington, D.C. and Honolulu, Hawaii, and was also a Land Use and Environmental Planner in Honolulu.
Valerie was born and raised in Honolulu, is an honors graduate of Punahou School, and lived and worked in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia for several years. Valerie enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter, reading, playing tennis and cooking.
