Biography

Stephanie Marn has been practicing law for 15 years, in Hawaii and in the District of Columbia, and became counsel to Bickerton Lee Dang & Sullivan in 2010.

Stephanie currently represents a wide range of both plaintiff and defendant clients in employment, civil rights, commercial, real estate, and personal injury litigation.

Stephanie started her law career at a major Honolulu law firm specializing in labor and employment matters. After practicing for four years, Stephanie moved to Washington, D.C., and continued practicing employment law and litigation at major law firms in Washington, D.C. Stephanie counseled employers on a wide range of laws affecting employers, and represented employers before the EEOC, state fair employment agencies, arbitrators, and state and federal courts in issues involving claims of sexual harassment, sex, race, age, national origin discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower claims, wage and hour law, constructive termination and wrongful discharge, employee privacy, and employee benefits. Stephanie also acted as an in-house counsel to Discovery Communications, Inc. in Silver Spring, Maryland where she prepared and negotiated executive contracts and other contracts, advised on a range of issues, and oversaw domestic and overseas employment litigation.

Stephanie was born and raised in Honolulu. She graduated from Punahou School and Haverford College, where she obtained her B.A. in Philosophy in 1989. Stephanie received her law degree from Stanford Law School in 1995.

When she is not working, Stephanie enjoys traveling, reading, gardening and spending time at the beach with her dog.
